There are only 24 hours in a day. You can't read everything. So you read what appears to be popular under the assumption such material will be the best use of your limited time. If this material then proves entertaining, you will then follow that author for the same reason so many people eat at Mac Donald's. You are reasonably happy with the product, and it is pretty much always exactly what you want and expect. Why waste time shopping around? Why fix something that appears not to be broken?
