Drones have already basically doomed manned fighter planes. Any new technology as advanced as indicated by these sightings could quickly make all air forces and missile systems giant piles of nearly worthless junk. The shakeup of the world arms industry is thus potentially monumental. I suspect all governments would want to sit on this information for some time to try to get ahead of the economic meltdown that would result. Imagine militaries with trillions of dollars worth of equipment that is suddenly useless.
